Brigitte Looney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brigitte Looney of Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Brigitte leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Raubach and Hilde Raubach; and her child Marty Looney. She is survived by: her husband Charles Looney; and her children, Jay Looney, Mike Looney and Susan Shelton. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
