She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Clarence Hightower and Marguerite Carol Moss Hightower; and her siblings, Janice Knox and Ricky Hightower. She is survived by: her husband Frank P. Karastury Sr.; her son Frank Paul Karastury Jr. (Paige); her grandchildren, Jon C. Karastury (Jamie), Mindy Karastury, Nicole Karastury (Drew), Joshua Karastury (Christina), Crystal Gilmore (Courtney), Jonathan Karastury (Sydney) and Hunter Adams; and her brothers, Larry Hightower (Linda), Terry Hightower (LaQuita) and Roy Hightower (Angela). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
