In loving memory of Bobbie Jean Hughey of Columbus, Georgia, born in Fort Mitchell, Alabama, who departed this world on August 12, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Carden and Mattie Carden; her husband Attorney Charles A. Hughey; her daughter Phyllis Godwin; and her grandson Donald Godwin.

She is survived by: her children, Charles A. Hughey, Jr. (Merny) and Teresa Owens (Randy); and her grandchildren, Erin Williams, Kristen Carroll (Ryan), Taylor Hughey (Mwanga) and Kendall Hughey (Michael). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, as well as many more family members and friends - including her newfound family.
