She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Purvis and Dora Weeks Purvis. She is survived by: her husband Ronald E. Sawyer of Columbus, GA; her sons, John E. Sawyer of Wiscasset, ME and Robert W. Sawyer of Long Beach, CA; and her siblings-in-law, Mike Sawyer of Harris County, GA and Judy Sawyer of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
