She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Naehr and Harry Naehr; her husband Ben H. Cooper Jr.; her daughter Patricia C. McKenzie; and her siblings, Mary J. Naehr, Delores N. Smith, Terry N. Campbell, Robert C. Naehr, Harry F. Naehr Jr. and Jim Naehr.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Robinson (Bruce) of Huntsville, AL, Diane Tyner (David) of Autaugaville, AL, Robert Cooper (Angela) of Midland, GA and David Cooper (Eva) of Shiloh, GA; her son-in-law William R. McKenzie of Midland, GA; her siblings, Marge Webb of Niceville, FL and Jerry Naehr of Lilburn, GA.; and her grandchildren, Teri, Kelly, Jennifer, Amber, Rob, Lance, Tara, Heather, Hillary, Amy, Melissa, Adams, John and Michael. She is also survived by thirty-three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Family Church (320 12th St, Columbus, GA 31901).
