It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Wayne McVey (Columbus, Georgia), born in Meadowview, Virginia, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McVey and Ada Widener McVey; and his son John McVey. He is survived by: his wife Yolanda McVey of Box Springs, GA; his son Kaleb McVey (Angela Roberts); his grandson Kevin Gaitan of Fortson, GA.; his daughter Perla McVey of Box Springs, GA; his grandchildren, Raylan McVey of Box Springs, GA, Brandon McVey of Fortson, GA, Alexander McVey of Fortson, GA and Ashley Hart (Jarrod) of Bristol, VA; his great grandchild Isaiah Hart; and his siblings, Sandra Welch, Sharon Rogers (Dan), Rita McVey, Ruby Wright (Charlie), Patricia Roake (Robert) and Jeff McVey (Lynn).
