He is survived by: his wife May Florence Garlick; his children, Mary Alice Garlick-Herring of Abilene, Kansas, Bernard Garlick, III and Georgette Cleo Garlick of Columbus, Georgia; his sister Cleo Pearl Byrd of Hampton, Virginia; and his aunt Gertrude Stewart of League City, Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren; (2) great grandchildren.
