He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leland "Buddy" Edelen, Jr. and Aline Prine Edelen of Berrien County; his son Elijah Edelen; his grandparents, Lonnie, Ruth Prine, Leland Edelen and Connie Lou Sumner; his wife Ashley Kelley Edelen of Berrien County; his children, Bailey McAnally (Logan) of Waycross, Brantley Edelen of Tifton, Grayson Edelen of Tifton and Emerson Edelen of Tifton; his grandson Elijah McAnally; his siblings, Joann Rutherford (Kyle) of Jacksonville and Wade Edelen (Kayte); his parents-in-law, Gail and Jesse Kelley; his sister-in-law Connie Melton (Jeff); his niece Kelsey Brown (Dillon); his nephews, Kalen Horne and Cole Melton (Bree); and also, Whit Coarsey, Carroll Coarsey, Blake Edore, Doug Roberts, Carl Nichols, Winston Brogdon, Will Brogdon, Zack Railey, Bo McCrainie, Lee Powell, Randy Luke, Matt Sauls, Bruce Dillard, Brian Curry and Josh Curry.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home For Funerals (420 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sumner Cemetery.
