He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Kicklighter; his parents, J. W. Kicklighter and Mildred S. Heath; and his stepfather Terry Heath. He is survived by: his wife Gray M. Kicklighter of Colquitt; his children, Dr. Jackson Kicklighter of Norfolk, VA and Taylor Kicklighter of Smyrna, GA; his siblings, Sandra Todd (David) of Claxton, Glenda Morris of Statesboro and Jim Kicklighter of Ludowici; and his stepsister Julie Dunay (Robert) of Bellevue, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
