He is survived by: his pet Luke; his children, Gaelen Whitfield (Kelsey) of Valdosta and Chelsea Ahnberg (Cole) of Portland, Oregon; his grandchildren, Eli Whitfield, Avery Whitfield and Miette Whitfield; and his sisters, Ann Glass (Billy) of Moultrie and Gwen Lott (Danny) of Colbert. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
