She was predeceased by: her parents, James Charles Ruthers and Pearl Ruth Schrader Ruthers of Virginia. She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Gilman; her children, Hope Owens (Robert), Joel Spires (Teresa Moore) and Stephen Spires (Chase Seay); and her stepchildren, Kenneth Bennett, Chris Bennett, Connie Long, Johnny Bennett, Mitchell Bennett, Kurt Bennett and Rae Parker. She is also survived by Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Step Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren.
