It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Gail Jarriel of Collins, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lucy Chastain Poole and Benjamin Thomas Poole. She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Pirie (John) and Gary Jarriel (Donnie); her siblings, Rodney Poole and Barbara Lombardi (Ernie); her grandchildren, Mitchell Bodily, Darci Bodily and Claire Pirie; and her former husband Jerry Coleman Jarriel Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tommy and Shirley Strickland Cancer Center at 1 Meadows Parkway in Vidalia, Ga, 30474.
