He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Horner and Bessie Horner; and his siblings, Ruth Volk of Norfolk, NE and Harold Horner of Schuyler, NE.. He is survived by: his wife Kay Lynn Canady; his daughters, Marva Morse (Rob) of Madison, AL. and Michelle Maughan of Cumming; his grandchildren, Chrislyn Morse Taylor (Tim) of Birmingham, AL., Jonathan Morse of Madison, AL. and Ryan Maughan of Cumming; and his siblings-in-law, Don Volk of Norfolk, NE and Loretta Horner of Schuyler, NE. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
