She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Fort and Sallie Lovette Fort; and her siblings, Benny Fort and Betty Fort. She is survived by: her daughter Christy G. Edwards; her sister Carolyn Harrington of Collins; her children, Venson Edwards of Johnson Corner, Tarrie Edwards Mixon (Mitchell Mixon) of Graham and Jason Edwards of Johnson Corner; her granddaughters, Jessica Kelley, Alexandria Mixon and Zoe Mixon; her great grandchild Christy Quintero; her sister-in-law Gail Fort; and also, Grandson and Aunt Robie Fort. She is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
