He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wess Adams and Lula Byrd Adams; and his wife Meral Jean McConnell Adams. He is survived by: his sons, Lamar Adams (Joyce) and Gary Adams (Sarah). He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
