He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Little and Elene Martin Carey; and his sisters, Gladys Carey, Sybil Schoyen, Ferrol Tyner and Gwendolyn Carey.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Compton Carey; his children, Chris Carey (Jeannie) and Kim Langley (Tim); his grandchildren, Kayla Baker (Russell), Austen Carey (Taylor), Amber Kirk (Dylan), Adam Carey (Madison Maney), Avery Langley, Sarah Langley and Charis Langley; his great grandchildren, Ava, Ellie, Canaan, Hailey, Dalton, Brody, Eden and Karson; and his siblings, Wallace Carey (Faye), Martin Carey (Carol), Larion Carey (Doris), Raleigh Carey (Earlene), Marie Young and Linda Sexton (Bant).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Danielsville Evangelical Church, Meadow Baptist Church or Colbert Baptist Church.
