She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Culbertson; her parents, Robert Shelton and Radie Peck Shelton; her daughter Jean C. Buice; and her siblings, Betty L. Phillips and Eddie Jo Shelton.
She is survived by: her son Hugh Culbertson (Elaine); her sister Margaret S. Banks of Sharpsburg, GA; and her siblings-in-law, Darrell Phillips of Carmichael, CA and Beverly Shelton of Fairburn, GA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, along with several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
