It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Pierce of Colbert, Georgia, born in Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Pierce and Beulah Coile Pierce; and his wife Patsy McCannon Pierce. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Pierce (Amanda), Amberly, Wyatt, Jason Pierce (Robin) and Garrett; his grandchildren, Meggan and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Vivian and Adeline; and his siblings, Mason Pierce, Gene Pierce, Glenda Turner and Drennon Pierce. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and dear, dear friends.
