It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Hayes of Colbert, Georgia, born in Trion, Georgia, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Worsham and Veda Watkins Worsham; her former husband Wesley F. Loard; and her husband Gerald Hayes. She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Loard and Kathy Rice (Geoff); her brother Edsel Worsham (Peggy); and her granddaughter Emily Rice.
