It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Blount of Colbert, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brown and Rosa Mae Brown; her husband James F. Blount, Jr.; her son Marcus A. Blount; and her brothers, Alvin and Malcolm Mize.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Scott (Mike); her granddaughters, Jennifer Cleverley (Kenneth), Michelle Scott, Bayleigh Blount and Brenna Blount; and her siblings, Howard Mize, Lenora Ramsey, Sara Casper and Ella Ruth Gordon.
