He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Earl Heide and Sally Freida "Sis" Colquitt Heide; and his siblings, Vivian Fife Bridges and Fran White. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Sue Pierce Heide; his children, Kevin Heide, Jennifer of Warner Robins, Marci Golden and Pete of Carlton; his grandchildren, Michaela Tignor, Johnny, Remie Heide, Grant Golden, Chelsea, Lila Golden and Lyndi Golden; and his siblings, James Heide, Marsha, Debbie Barnes and Jimmy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
