He was predeceased by: his parent John Hozey; and his brothers, Ronnie Hozey and John "Bugs" Hozey. He is survived by: his parent Flora Evans Hozey; his wife Sally Hozey; his children, Allison Deal (Sam) and Anne Gladden (Eric); his grandchildren, Samantha Deal, Leonard James Deal, Will Gladden and Megan Gladden; his sisters, Vicky Hill (Gordon) and Diane Silvers; and his sister-in-law Mary Glenn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
