He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jackson Strickland and Lillian Lola Sorrow Strickland; and his siblings, Larry Wayne Strickland, Robby Strickland and Tracy Strickland.
He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Reid; and his siblings, Tommy James Strickland, Roger Dale Strickland, Patricia Ann Morris (Charles Douglas) and Rochelle Strickland Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
