He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Glenn Deakin (Barbara Ruth Lane Deakin) and Carla Christine Cargal (Brian). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Deakin; his children, Tyler Harry Deakin, Matthew Kent Deakin (Rachael) and Ellie Violet Deakin; and his brother Douglas Glenn Deakin (Georgia).

Contributions may be made in Brian's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
