It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Mae Smith of Cohutta, Georgia, born in Suches, Georgia, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Berry and Grace Sissum Ballew; her children, Dennis and Leann Taylor; and her siblings, Nancy Roland, Homer Hollis and Raymond Ballew.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen Phillips Smith; her sons, Dewayne Hollis and David Hollis; and her siblings, Rita Elders, Susan Royer, Larry Ballew and David Royer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
