She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin L. Phillips; her grandson Chuck Bryson; her parents, Albert Rodgers and Annie Rodgers; and her siblings, Huey Rodgers, HueDon Rodgers, Gladys Ragland, Agnes King and Hazel Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila (Sammy Cagle), Carla (Jimmy Sneed), Allen (Cheryl Phillips) and Gerald (Vicky Phillips); and her brother Ray Rodgers of Cullman, AL.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchild; nieces and nephews.
