He was predeceased by: his parents, Edge Timms and Minnie Bell Timms; and his siblings, Lora Padgett, Faye Helton, J. D. Timms, Leon Timms and Tommy Timms.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Timms; his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Greg Wilkins of Dalton; his brother James Timms of Dallas, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jake, Amanda Wilkins and Travis Wilkins; his great grandchildren, Ashton Knapp, Destiny Knapp, William Wilkins, Bevan Wilkins and Scarlett Wilkins; and his great great grandchild Penelope Sullivan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721).
