She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel M. Phillips; her parents, John Horne and Elva Jackson Mason; and her siblings, Kenneth Horne and Sylvia Irish.

She is survived by: her daughter Danielle; her son-in-law Jeff Shields of Cohutta; and her grandson Trenton Phillips of Dalton.
