She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Sumner and Reba Sumner; her husbands, Grady James and Clayton Pruitt; her brothers, Harold and James Sumner; and her son-in-law Calvin Seay.
She is survived by: her children, AJ (Diane James), Carlton "Slick" (Kay James), Karen (Buddy Anderson), Priscilla "Jo" Seay of Chatsworth and Tracy (Cindy Pruitt); her brothers, Llyod Sumner of Ellijay, GA and William "Dub" Sumner of Kingsport, TN; her sister-in-law Mary Ruth Sumner of Gate City, VA; and her close friend Dot Alverson of Cartersville. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
