She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Charles Painter; her parents, Oscar Smith and Panzie Sanford Smith; her son Randall Painter; and her brother Freddie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jerrimey Painter (Angelia), Tracey Painter, Clayton Painter, Steve Painter, Jacob Painter (Shana), Sandy Painter and Phileshia Gothard; her siblings, Gerald Smith, Preston Smith, Joni Thomas (Randy) and Freida Amos (Jeff); her grandchildren, Britany, Ryan, Andrew, Megan, Zack, Jeffery, Cody, Emory, Joanna, Bailey, Savannah, Sky, Logan, Haley, Emma, Riley and Alyssa; her great grandchildren, Brynlee, Piper, Brantley, Dash, Reid and Freya; and her brother Skip Lingfelt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
