He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" McArthur and Connie McArthur; his grandparents, H. P., Sarah McArthur, Guy and Eva Nell Thomas; and his brother Robert McArthur.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Miles of Nashville, TN and Bethany; his siblings, Jeannie Hixson of Fort Oglethorpe, JoAnn Long of Calhoun, Mike McArthur of Chattanooga and Anthony McArthur; and his grandchildren, Trig Miles and Knox Miles. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
