She was predeceased by: her husband John Spoerlein; her parents, Lillie Marie and Roy Maples; and her grandparents, Willard Maples, Mary Maples, Fred Kimsey and Mary Kimsey.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Mitchell Hayes of Dalton; her brother Stan Maples of Cohutta; her grandchildren, Tayler Hayes, Will Hayes and Samuel Hayes; and also, Shanon Hayes and Cathy Hayes of Comer, GA. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
