He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Brown and Flora Brown; his brothers, King Brown, Bill (Delores Brown) and Sam Brown; and his brother-in-law Otto Walraven.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Brown of Cohutta; his children, Greg (Connie Brown), Richie (Regina Hardinger), Eugene C. Lawson of Dalton, Angela (Ron Shawgo), Lenley (Marius Fey) and Stephanie (Said Asadi); and his siblings, Frank (Odell Brown), Fred Brown of Calhoun, Jim (Ellen Brown), Hoyt (Virginia Brown), Dorothy Walraven of Calhoun and Sara (Roger Burnley). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
