He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Lilly Guthrie (Ledford); his parents, Thomas Edward (Ed) and Zora Jenkins Guthrie; his siblings, Roy, Paul, Benny Guthrie, Evelyn Moore and Betty; and his brother-in-law Verlin Sneed.
He is survived by: his daughter Melody; his son-in-law Brian Deverell of Cohutta; his siblings-in-law, Marylou Guthrie of Cleveland, TN, Jean Guthrie of Rogersville, TN, Charlie Moore of Cleveland, TN and Margie Hawkins (J. W.) of Chatsworth; and his grandchildren, Samantha Bagley (Timothy Blalock) of Chatsworth, Tabitha Bagley of Cohutta, Robert and Leigha Bagley, Jr. of Holloman, NM. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
