He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bayless Bean; his children, Annalisa Defore, Barbara Ann Bean of Cohutta, GA, Cindy (Zach Hopkins), Jerry (Cheryl Bean) and Gene (Sonja Bean); his brother Melvin; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Bean of Ringgold, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
