She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ford and Iva Pulliam Thomas; her husband Ben Dycus; her son Marty Dycus; her siblings, Carolyn Fain, Laura Jean Brown and Fred Thomas; her half-siblings, Martha Gravitt, John, Edward and Farrell Capehart; her granddaughter Dianne Dycus; and her daughters-in-law, Joyce and Reba Dycus.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Patterson of Cohutta, Lynn (Randy Wills), James Dycus of Tunnel Hill, Larry Dycus of Cohutta and Tommy Dycus (Mickey) of Cohutta; her sister-in-law Mildred Smith of Dalton; and her grandchildren, Richard Dycus (Christy), Stephen Dycus (Connie), Pam Thomas (Russell), Brian Dycus (Sandi), Kevin Rose, Christy Bryant, Ben Patterson, John Patterson, Patrick Patterson, Beth Borders, Kim Sleeman (Jason), Jenny King (Phillip), Matt Wills (Bree), Nathaniel Dycus (Nicole) and Jonathan Dycus (Krystal). She is also survived by 48 great-grandchildren.
