It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Williams (Cohutta, Georgia), who passed away on October 25, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Nellie Walston Smith; and her siblings, Willie May Dantzler, Lena Lucille Smith, Nellie Sue Thorne, Johnie Louise Baltra, Vivian "Cricket" Bevil, James E. Smith and Byron F. Smith.
She is survived by: her spouse Mayford Freeman Williams; her children, Jane Williams of Cohutta, Wayne Joyce of Cohutta, Dan Williams of Cohutta and Rachel Williams of Cohutta; her sister-in-law Millicent Smith of Dalton; her grandchildren, Kelly Joyce, Susan Joyce of Villa Rica, GA, Matt Williams, Cristinia Williams of Cohutta, Kevin Joyce of Rocky Face, Beth Ownby and Barry Ownby of Cohutta; her nieces, Beverly Pulliam and Janine Leonard; and her friend Kathy Walker. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
