He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Clayton and Lola Clayton; and his siblings, Bud, Willodyne Smith and Marie Elkins.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Clayton of Cohutta; his daughters, Patricia Clayton of Roswell, Debbie Thomas of Rocky Face and Charline Luckey of Augusta; his sisters, Anna Mae Dantzler of Ringgold and Shirley Delatorre of Marietta; and his grandchildren, Michael Thompson (Tracy), Krista Roth (Michael), Tiffany Blackwell (Justin), Tatum Thomas, Bryan Luckey (Kim) and Alan Luckey (Marci). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
