He is survived by: his children, Denise Gedda (Gordon), Marilyn Smith Turner, Darlene Meadows (Keith), Doyle Smith (Karen) and Bess Gaus (Jason); and his grandchildren, Kim Piaggio (Gus), Casey Martin (Dana), Keturah Howard, Caleb Howard, Craig Smith (Charlie), Mindy Ogle (Josh), Amanda Hunt, Brandon Smith (Mallory), Christopher McHenry (Jessica), Jacob Meadows (Danielle), Natasha McHenry, Seddalee Meadows, Vivian Meadows, Ryan Cummings, Hunter Piaggio, Josh Ogle and Gus Piaggio. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
