It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Charles Peden of Cohutta, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Maude Susie Boyd Peden; his siblings, Larry Peden, Bob Peden, Eugene James, Mary Ledford and Betty Bookout; his children, David Craig Peden of Cohutta, GA, Connie (Cecil Bovard), Angie (Joseph Holman) and Lynn (Wilbur Bovard); and his siblings, Waymon (Jean Peden), Edward Peden, Darrell (Rita Peden), Ralph Peden of Dalton, GA, Geneva Prater of Plainville, GA, Dee (Leslie Green), Brenda (Johnny Brown) and Debbie (David Whaley). He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
