He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Evans and Evelyn Brady Evans; his grandson R. J. Fordham; and his sister Mae Evans Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Janice D. Evans of Cochran; his children, Isaac Evans, Deena Evans (T. J. Mullis), Jacob Evans (Tiffany), Lilly Grace Evans of Cochran and Jennifer Fordham (Rodney) of Danville; his grandchildren, Gage Fordham, Natalie Fordham, Matthew Adams, Karaline Adams, Olivia Evans, Sawyer Evans and Madison Mullis; and his sister Judy E. Mullis (Bubba) of Cochran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
