He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haywood, Sr. and Myrtle Avant McDonald; and his brothers, Lamar McDonald and Bob McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith McDonald of Cochran; his daughter Mitzi Atkins (Boyd) of Cochran; his grandchildren, Elise Hodge (Kevin), Darryl Atkins of Cochran and Trevor Atkins of Glenville; his great grandchild Destiny Hodge of Cochran; his sisters, Dorothy Anderson (George) of Warner Robins and Marie Holly (David) of Bonaire; and his close friend Chris Lyles of Cochran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
