With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian S. Collins of Cochran, Georgia, born in Abbeville, Georgia, who passed away on December 24, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Monroe Smith and Alice Foye Helms Smith; her husband Jimmy Collins; and her siblings, James, Talmadge Smith, Ruth Dykes, Betty Smith, Beulah Hancock and Sara McBryant.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Newell of Cochran and Debbie Brown of Abbeville; her brother John Henry Smith of Rochelle; and her stepchildren, Joey Collins of Cochran, Sharon Collins of Cochran and Karen Mathis (Buddy) of Cochran. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
