He is survived by: his wife Jean B. Sawyer of Cochran; his children, Patrick Sawyer (Elaine) of Kathleen and Trena McCarthy (John) of Flowery Branch; his stepchildren, Tammy Hardenburgh (Ethen) of Katy, TX, Elizabeth Waldorf (Thomas) of Hilton Head, SC and Ronnie Dains (Esmeralda); his grandchildren, Logan Sawyer, William Sawyer, LilaLee McCarthy, Macon McCarthy, Amanda Chester, Allison Bivins (Pat), Ashley Diller, Bailey Bollinger and Candice Dains; his great grandchildren, Andrew Chester, Aidan McNeil, Aliyah Sanders, Alex Biddlecome, Jackson Bivins, Colt Bivins and Riley Bivins; and his siblings, Bob Sawyer of Cochran, W. L. "Strib" Sawyer of Cochran, Glenn Sawyer of Cochran, Lyndon Sawyer (Ann) of Cochran, Pansy Loudermilk (Joey) of Ellersile, Florine "Baby" Johnson of Gloverville, SC and Madge Dykes (Jack) of Bonaire. He is also survived by his six brothers, son, and some nephews.
