Susie Mae Sapp Barrs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie Mae Sapp Barrs of Cochran, Georgia, who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carlton Sapp and Rosa Lea Watson Sapp; her husband Ray Edgar Barrs; her great grandchild Paxton Barrs; her siblings, Carlton Sapp, Horace Sapp, Elsie S. Tucker and Dorothy S. Meadows; and her daughter-in-law Dorothy J. Barrs.
She is survived by: her sons, Lee Barrs (Faye) of Cochran and Earl Barrs (Wanda) of Cochran; her grandchildren, Brian Barrs (Gretchen), Brandon Barrs (Brandi), Andy Barrs (Carmen) and Meredith Potter (Philip); her great grandchildren, Bryson, Brooks, Hudson Barrs, Kaylee Rae, Parker, Blake Barrs, Madlyn, Bowen Potter, Shepard and Kennedy Barrs; her sister-in-law Doris R. Sapp of Cochran; and also Ronald Hall (Terri) of Blackshear. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 134 Abney Road, Cochran, GA 31014.
