She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Corbett and Ethel Brannon Abney; her spouse Dr. C. E. Smith; and her daughter Barbara Asbell Bryan. She is survived by: her daughters, Emily Johnstone (Rick) of Perry and Angela Smith of Cochran. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
