He was predeceased by: his father Elder Elijah; and his siblings, James, Junior, Jack, Marvin Maddox, Minnie Lee Rowland, Florence Thomas and Lorine Johnson.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gene Maddox (Carol) of Jones County, Robert Maddox (Kay) of Jones County and Bill Maddox of Jones County; and his sister-in-law Peggy Naugle Maddox of Cochran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
