He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory W., Sr. and Neail Perry Porter; his brother Emory W. Porter, Jr.; and his nephew Tom Porter. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Cookie" Floyd Porter of Cochran; his son Michael Porter (Keely) of Macon; his grandchildren, Will and Karli; his brother Tommy Porter (Judy) of Cochran; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Peacock Porter of Cochran, Gwen and Joe Cox of Cochran.
