He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie F. Grimsley and Mozelle Lucas Grimsley; his siblings, Jerry Grimsley and Janice Grimsley; and his granddaughter Ashley Grimsley Thigpen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Grimsley of Cochran; his sons, Robbie Grimsley (Dana) of Cochran and Kerry Grimsley (Teresa) of Cochran; his grandchildren, Rob Grimsley (Lora), Dana Arnold, Kimber Smith (Wes), Caroline Thomas, Ryan Grimsley (Heather) and Lynn Grimsley (Natasha); and his sister Margaret Brack (John) of Cochran. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
