He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin, Sr. and Frances Annette Gibson Curington; his wife Virginia Dykes Curington; his sons, Bill Curington and Bob Curington; his granddaughter Kristen Curington; and his brothers, Jack Curington and Tom Curington.

He is survived by: his granddaughters, Cathryn Curington Eagle and Taylor Curington Upson (Shawn) of Jacksonville, FL; his great grandchildren, Ayden and Reagan Eagle; his daughter-in-law Susan Wittingslow (John) of Jacksonville, FL; and his sister Nita Wimberly of Cochran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
